Each year, I aim to create stunning visual experiences for my neighborhood on Halloween. Using custom controllers, specialized software, and original digital artwork, every display is carefully curated to reflect a specific theme, often paying homage to popular movies or TV shows.
Over the years, these visuals have garnered the attention of hundreds or people around town and even caught the interest of CBS.
This passion project offen revoles around the extensive use of DMX lighting and large physical props, all of which are created custom.
Below are some crowd favorite displays:
A Stranger Spectacular
Every year begins with an idea. This year I transformed my house into a Stranger Things set with a custom projection mapping show and DMX lights.
This year’s theme was all about pirates.
The main attraction featured an overhead painted skull that kids walked through, setting the scene for adventure.
Each doorbell press triggered a synchronized lighting sequence paired with an audio track voiced by a local actor, bringing the display to life.
Pirates Cove
The Nightmare before Christmas
The Circus
This year was my personal favorite. It was my first year working with DMX lights, and first time building out of foam board
